About the department
The department is located in building No. 5 of UZ "11 GKB". The bed capacity is 40 beds. The department provides specialized assistance to the adult population of Minsk.
Hospitalization of patients with a disease of the maxillofacial region is carried out in the direction of the polyclinic at the place of residence with the seals of the institution and the head of the department after completing the mandatory and additional research methods specified in the Clinical Protocols and providing their results.
An appointment for a planned hospitalization is made from Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 by referral from the dentist's surgeon at the polyclinic at the place of residence.
Modern diagnostic methods (laboratory, ultrasound, CBKT, CT) are used.
The department's doctors conduct consultations on an off-budget basis.
The date and time of the consultation are agreed upon by calling the paid services office (225-88-14).
History of the department
The department has been operating on the basis of the State Health Institution "11th City Clinical Hospital" since 01.01.2008.
The department is designed to provide specialized highly qualified care to patients with purulent-inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region.
High-tech operations that began to be provided in the department in 2023:
- osteosynthesis and osteoplasty of facial bones with restoration of anatomical integrity by monocortical or bicortical transplant of defects of the alveolar processes of the jaws after removal of tumors, large sequesters, restoration of post-traumatic defects;
- treatment of bisphosphonate necrosis using PRF;
- laser minimally invasive surgery (paid services).
