About the department
The functional diagnostics department is located in building No. 2 (surgical) on the 3rd floor.
The department performs the following types of research:
- Electrocardiography (ECG) in 12 and additional leads;
- Daily ECG monitoring (Holter monitoring);
- Bifunctional daily monitoring of ECG and blood pressure;
- Electroneuromyography (ENMG);
- Electroencephalography (EEG);
- External respiratory function test;
- Stress testing: treadmill test, bicycle ergometry;
- Ultrasound examination of the heart (Echocardiography);
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TE-EchoCG).
The department provides diagnostic assistance to patients in the hospital's inpatient departments, as well as certain types of research, such as: ENMG, EEG, emergency echocardiography - to the adult population of the Oktyabrsky district upon referral from outpatient and polyclinic institutions of the district.
The department provides the following types of paid research:
- Electrocardiography;
- Holter monitoring;
- ABPM;
- Bifunctional 24-hour monitoring of blood pressure and ECG.
History of the department
The department was organized in 1954, when an electrocardiography room was opened in the Road Hospital. Currently, the department performs a wide range of modern functional diagnostic studies.
