Admissions Department
The Admissions Department is a structural subdivision of the Healthcare Institution "11th City Clinical Hospital" and is located on the first floor of the 9-story surgical building No. 2.
The Admissions Department provides planned hospitalization and emergency medical care.
Patients are admitted for planned hospitalization from 08:00 to 15:00 on weekdays (the planned reception desk of the Admissions Department). For planned hospitalization, it is mandatory to have a passport (identification card), a referral for hospitalization from an outpatient and polyclinic healthcare organization, and the results of studies in accordance with the list received from the head of the department when registering for planned hospitalization.
The Admissions Department for emergency medical care operates around the clock. The emergency admission department is designed to receive and sort patients, provide emergency medical care, relieve urgent conditions that do not require hospitalization, as well as provide medical and advisory care and hospitalization of patients delivered by ambulance teams who have contacted the admission department by referral from outpatient clinics or independently.
Emergency medical care will be provided to you by a general practitioner, a surgeon from the purulent surgery department, maxillofacial surgeons, and an otolaryngologist.
The reception area has:
- 2 registration desks (emergency and planned);
- 5 examination rooms (according to the profile of specialists);
- 3 dressing rooms;
- procedure and vaccination rooms;
- isolation ward;
- laboratory section of the clinical diagnostic laboratory;
- ultrasound diagnostic room;
- X-ray room;
- computed tomography room.
For diagnostics and emergency care to patients, according to indications, the following are performed at the admission department level: express laboratory diagnostics (complete blood count, glycemia level, general urine analysis, biological blood test, cardiac markers, coagulogram, blood group and Rh factor, sputum for AUC, urine diastase, express test for SARS-CoV-2 antigen - around the clock) and instrumental research methods (ECG, radiography, ultrasound, CBCT (for patients in the maxillofacial surgery and ENT profiles) - around the clock; endoscopy - from 08.00 to 15.30 on weekdays; CT - from 8.00 to 20.00 on weekdays).
If necessary, consulting doctors, department staff and heads of departments are involved.
History of the department
The first official medical institutions on the Moscow-Brest and Libau-Romny railways were 4 outpatient clinics, called emergency rooms. During the development and establishment of the hospital, the emergency room was transformed into an admissions department and significantly expanded its functions. In different years, the admissions department was headed by Shpak A.P., Aristov V.P., Lemeza I.I., Astrakhantseva V.A., Gromiko E.G., Gagarina A.V.
