Encephalography (EEG)

Electroencephalography (EEG) is a classic diagnostic technique that is performed using special medical devices.

Hardware examination of the brain allows you to identify disorders in its work. The method is based on measurements of the electrical activity of brain neurons.

An electroencephalograph device is used for the EEG. Measurements are carried out using external sensors, which are mounted on the patient's head. The research results are recorded on electronic media, and the encephalogram is printed on paper tape. The data is decrypted by a computer program, and a specialist (neurophysiologist) analyzes it and issues a conclusion. The analysis allows you to assess the brain's performance, identify the foci of pathological changes, make or correct a diagnosis, and assess whether there is a dynamic in treatment.
